Are you ready to lean into analytic approaches that show customers the power of both technical and methodological innovation? Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Capture and Proposal Manager, working REMOTE with occasional visits to Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capture and proposal efforts across IC/DoD agencies, integrating traditional and nontraditional growth strategies
  • Shape technical solutions in response to government solicitations, ensuring alignment with customer missions and procurement requirements

  • Build and lead cross-functional teams; negotiate workshare agreements; and manage teaming relationships to strengthen competitive positioning

  • Oversee proposal development as Proposal Manager and Book Boss, from kickoff through submission, ensuring compliance, content quality, and timely delivery

  • Facilitate and participate in color team reviews, incorporating feedback to maximize proposal competitiveness

  • Collaborate with contracts, HR, finance, and security teams to develop compliant non-technical and management volumes

  • Engage with clients to identify organic growth opportunities, foster strong relationships, and drive innovative/nontraditional wins

  • Apply lessons learned from prior pursuits to refine capture strategies, strengthen execution, and increase win rates

  • Brief senior government, military, and contractor leaders on technical solutions, growth strategies, and proposal outcomes

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:   

  • 5 years experience as a technical team member in the IC/DoD (e.g., analyst, developer, engineer, data scientist)
  • 5 years experience with and proven success in traditional growth in the IC/DoD

  • Traditional experience must include experience building teams; negotiating workshare; proposal manager; book boss; color team leader and participant; leading technical solution meetings; working with back office functional reps to build non-tech/mgmt. volumes

  • Extensive experience performing growth activities at two or more IC/DoD agencies
  • Track record of success briefing senior managers (government, military, and contractor)

  • Ability to apply lessons learned from previous failures/losses

  • The ideal candidate will be:

    • Willing to roll up sleeves and get hands dirty, while understanding government procurement

    • Effective in a team environment

    • Effective working independently

    • Proactive in communication (prefers to overcommunicate)

    • A self-starter with initiative

    • Resourceful and adaptable

Desired Qualifications:  

  • TS clearance preferred
  • Experience shaping deals pre-RFP
  • Intelligence experience preferred
