This work requires data science support to a series of short term efforts applying machine learning to novel challenges based on remotely sensed data. Successful applicants should be familiar with phenomenology in remotely sensed data to provide expertise to machine learning and data science team members to successfully create machine learning models. Because of the short term nature of projects and small team sizes, all team members should be effective communicators in understanding requirements, intended outcomes, and relaying status to customers. 

Required Qualifications:   

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly required to start
• Bachelor’s degree in geography, remote sensing, or other similar technical field
• 10+ years experience in applied image processing, ideally in electro-optical and synthetic aperture radar (SAR).
• Proven experience with a wide array of remotely sensed data types to include government and commercial platforms.   

Desired Qualifications:  

• Experience with machine learning models as they apply to remotely sensed data
