Provide the Geodetic Surveys Division (SFNS) with photogrammetry support, to include advanced expertise in Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) processing and analysis, the generation of point clouds from Electro-Optical (EO) imagery, and the co-registration of multi-source datasets to provide a geodetically accurate 30 dataset.
Required Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of photogrammetry, including LiDAR processing and analysis and EO point cloud generation
Minimum of 10 years' experience processing and analyzing LiDAR data or EO point clouds, and documenting precision and error in accordance with existing data standards
Experience applying geodetic and photogrammetric principles to co-register multiple data sets to the WGS 84 reference frame and perform statistical analysis to determine the absolute and relative error
Experience using QT Modeler, Socet Set, or similar elevation or point cloud processing and analysis software
Experience using ESRI ArcGISPro
Knowledge of digital data formats such as vector data, raster data, shape files, GML, XML
Experience developing project plans with milestones and deliverables, tracking progress, and subsequent status reporting
Desired Qualifications:
STEM Degree
Geodetic surveying or land surveying experience or coursework
Advanced knowledge of geodetic or statistical principles.
Familiarity with sponsor systems architecture, including unclassified cloud environments
